For more than twenty-five years, I've worked at the intersection of leadership, learning and organisational development.
Today, I'm a Lecturer in Management at the University of Leicester, where I teach leadership, professional development and management to undergraduate students. My teaching focuses on helping students develop not only knowledge, but the confidence, capability and professional identity they'll need throughout their careers.
Alongside my academic work, I coach leaders, facilitate learning and consult with organisations across the nonprofit, public and private sectors. My work has included leadership development, organisational strategy, learning design, storytelling, and organisational change.
I hold a Master of Education specialising in adult education and workplace learning, and I'm currently undertaking doctoral research exploring how leadership narratives shape leadership identity and practice.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me walking my dogs, Millie and Hugo in the English countryside, reading a book with a cup of milky tea, wandering around antique markets with my son, or wondering about life in general. I've learned to trust those moments of curiosity. They have a habit of leading me somewhere worth going.
